Silent is the voice of a generation
And apathy its favorite fare
We pass by everyone without a care
We spout great verse
But action we not dare
We say there is love
And yet all I see is air
What do you see when you stare?
Silent is the voice of a generation And apathy its favorite fare We pass by everyone without a care We spout great verse But action we not dare We say there is love And yet all I see is air What do you see when you stare? |

About the form of this poem: picks up a rhyme-scheme, but only after the first two lines. The second rhyme may confuse the rhyme a bit because of this. Also, toss me a comma or two in there, will ya? Maybe after the second line, fourth and sixth. Although that is just based on my reading of it, your intent and pacing may be different then mine.
Still, this pieces pokes in the right places, methinks.
O well, now I'm rambling, but yea....need to look into the post-post's
